-Most important rule: HAVE FUN!!
-Purging of inactive players will happen after 150 days.
-Ladder movement is set for 50%.
-Each player may only use one name for the league and it must be the same as the yahoo id you intend to play with.
-Be respectful and polite to members during games by saying gh ty gg etc.
-Do not disrespect another member of 01Ginden or any person playing in Decent Digs. If there is a problem, do not argue in lobby. Take it to a table or im. If needed invite or let a td or admin know. Arguing in lobby can lead to a boxing.
-Do not use foul language in the lobby. Excessive use of language can lead to a boxing.
-Cheating will not be allowed here. If you are found cheating your status as a member here is at the discretion of admins.
-Do not advertise for our league in any rooms but Decent Digs as this is a violation of cases rules.
-BOXING: 1st offense will be a warning. 2nd offense will result in 1-3 days boxing. 3rd offense will result in greater boxing or removal from league. Number of days in box and removal at any time is up to the discretion of admins depending on situation.
-Banning of a member is at the discretion of admins at all times.
-Sexual harassment of any member will not be allowed here. If you are found to be doing this you will be punished at the discretion of admins.
-If Monkees run a tourney in our room, please just ignore them and be courteous. Do not spam them. If there happens to be a problem an admin will speak with them.
-Top of the Heap: Everyone wants a shot at #1; consequently there should be a lot of activity and movement in the top ranks of the Ladder. Remember that rank has priority when it comes to challenges. Keeping that in mind, the number one player should play the number two player as often as possible.
-Leapfrogging: Players in the Top Ten should try to play the person ranked directly below them at least once every three days. If you are found to be avoiding challenges that put your rank at risk your account will be penalized.
-Rank Hounding: Players in the Top Ten are expected to be as active after they reach the top ranks as they were before. In other words, if you are playing 20 games a day to make it to the Top Ten and then only play once a week to hold your rank you may be penalized.
-Top Ten Players will lose rungs if they are inactive for 3 days and also if they do not follow the above rules.

-You may play other players 5 times a day excluding tourneys.
-Loser of a league game shall report the loss by going to report loss on the main page. If you are found not reporting excessively and have been warned you may be boxed or terminated
-Loss should be reported immediately. If the loss is not reported within a 24 hours, winning players should go to unreported matches on the main page.
-Tables for league games shall be rated and protected and kibby turned off.
-All league games must be played in Decent Digs.
-You may not play in 2 league games or a league game and tourney game at the same time. If so you will be disqualified from tourney.
-Exception to this rule is when in a long tourney like no touch or 4vs4 tag at the TD's discretion you can play an unrated game if you have a bye. Once it is your turn to play you must cancel game
-Top players are expected to play league games to remain active with all members. Admin Team reserves the right to monitor league game activity of the top 20 in order to determine appropriate ladder/league game activity.
-League games are to be requested in a general manner and not to ask for a player specifically. Only use formal challenges after trying to ask for a league game.
-Top 100 players can utilize the formal challenge system.
-If a formal challenge is not completed within 3 days, the challenged player will lose rank.

-Please do not talk while rules are being given. This is a courtesy to the tds. Constantly doing this will result in a boxing
-Quiet watching is allowed as long as both players agree.
-Limit the talking in the lobby while playing your game as this tends to make tournaments last longer than they should. Saying hello to someone is fine.
-Timers for tourneys will be set at 10 minutes. This is an accumulative time. For blitzes, timers will be set at 5 minutes.
-For tags, timer rule in effect only if both members of team missing. If one member is missing the other teammate will play or if needed make table
-For swiss, there is a 5 min timer per round, total of 10 mins.
-When tourney starts, please end all league games or non league games you might be in.
-You cannot play in more than 1 tourney at a time.
-For blitzes, please do not register for the next tourney until you are eliminated from the tourney you are in.
-If Yahoo boots both players from the same tournament game, the game must be restarted regardless of score.
-All tournament rules not clarified by these rules shall be set by the tournament director.
-The tournament director's decisions during a tournament are final. Admin. Staff will not overturn decision made by a TD, unless unusual circumstances occur.
-If a player is timed out or is disqualified, the game is canceled. Do not force forfeit.
Additional Tourney Rules for Canasta
-People in same household cannot partner up.
-NO cheating. No Ims to partner allowed.
-No table talk allowed. Asking partner to go out or to cover eyes is not considered table talk.
-Only 3 BRB's allowed a game. After the 3rd one your team can be disqualified.
-In tag tournies, if your partner gets booted the TD will sub for them until they return. If for some reason the TD is playing as well as they are hosting tourney for someone else, they will elect someone to sub.
